Love For The Love Print

Check out this fabulous LOVE print by Jen Ramos from Made By Girl. I mean, REALLY?

Love-1

Yes, really.

Jen was nice enough to donate one of these prints to the homeless shelter where I co-designed a few rooms. All I had to do was ask.

So she is kind AND talented. My kind of girl. Or, the kind of girl I strive to be. With mostly tenuous results.

Love-2

Need a groovy gift for the bride-to-be? Look how happy by BFF was when I gifted her with this. Right after this photo was taken, she started doing backflips all over the room.

(Photo by the fabulous Bethany Nauert)

And notice how pleased I look with myself for giving her the best gift in the world.

Lips

Natch, she has other cool prints, like these lips. Gotta get me some of these lips. And more wall space. And liposuction. But that is neither here nor there.

Merci Oui

And what about these French-themed prints?

We all need more French things in our lives, if you ask me. French fries. French Bulldogs. French Doors. French Laundry. French Kissing. French Horns. French Wine. French Exits.

FrenchStewart

And, heck, why not more French Stewart?

All these prints (except for French Stewart – insert sad emoticon) can be found here.

Get some now, and help me thank Jen for her generous donation for homeless women!

Quarantine Tip #3: Decide to finally organize your photo library. Delete delete delete and free up space. Find gems like this from 2007 when you went to an ugly sweater party thrown for your friends graduation from med school, where you crammed a huge piece of meat (it was soooo good and you were soooo hungry) down your gullet, where it became lodged. Ran outside because you thought you were going to throw up. Realized you were instead going to choke to death. Asked your husband to go back into the party and come back with “ONE DOCTOR”. Emphasized the ‘one’ part. Became mortified when 6 doctors ran out to help you, conceding by round table that your life was definitely not in danger, you should maybe just chew your food next time. Never get invited to another party this friend has thrown.
Quarantine Tip #2: Suddenly realize you aren’t nearly as thin or flexible as you were 5 years ago when you gave up yoga, thinking it did nothing for you. Recognize this as yet another reminder that you are getting older by the second. Panic. Start doing @SarahBethYoga every day, even if you wedge in a 10 minute (FREE!) video of hers after your regular work out. Feel better about yourself and the world as a whole, at least until you read the news. Also, don’t read the news. (her free workouts are between 10 - 30 minutes long and her #sarabethyoga videos can be found on her You Tube channel). Go get, em!
Quarantine Tip #1. Make a delicious drink with very hot water + honey + cinnamon stick + oranges. Throw the oranges in there, rinds, seeds & all. Extra points if you use citrus stolen from a neighbor’s tree and prep on a cheese board make by @boycestudio .#stayathomechallenge #mypandemicsurvivalplan #togetherathome #quarantineandchill ##coronakindness #istayhome #quarantinetips
Sat on the beach for (literally) 3 minutes today & it filled my soul. Then we had to drive away because the police were not allowing anyone to park anywhere & it felt very Police State to me, but I GET IT. This is the new normal, and likely for a lotttttt longer than we think. Yikes.
Pico, Sydney, Ringo, Dove.
I mean, I like LA & all, but....Laguna. Sigh.
Was SO excited to visit @siemonandsalazar ‘s shop and see where all the spectacular magic happens. Have been a huge fan & mini-collector of their stunning hand blown glass vessels & lighting for years now. They are the real deal, and couldn’t have been kinder & more welcoming. AND they donated a gorgeous white lattimo vase to @homedogla ‘s Bowling 4 Paws fundraiser & auction taking place on 3/15. Just a few tickets left - grab em so you can bid on this vase & many more (almost as) fabulous items to help low income families keep & care for their pets. Thank you, S&S for having a heart for humans & animals in need!
Introduced Cousin Chad to Malibu and it did not disappoint. Side note: A surprising number of fellow revelers did seem to be on some kind of hallucinogen which I found to be completely unnecessary since the scenery was already pretty mind blowing, but what do I know, maybe I’m just old. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Happy 50th birthday weekend, @elleaphont ! My love language is a swift kick in the face.
We might have loved the ranch’s 4 Great Pyrenees more than their goats? Check out the love - and the jealousy - when one is paying more attention to the goats - esp the ol’ paw to the crotch move in photo 4. 😂😂😂
THIS IS HOW I HERD GOATS.
Positively MAGICAL day at Angeles Crest Creamery, hiking with the residents on their goat ranch. We did it through @airbnbexperiences and we did not want it to ever end. Thanks, Gloria, for the beautiful time! Can’t wait to return for a stay in your fab airstreams!
Stopped by this incredibly charming & beautiful home store on Montana in Santa Monica. Made me want to be more fabulous & creative. #goals
Not quite as “secret agent-y” as her namesake, Sydney Bristow Maigret is spotted creepin’ on the neighbors.
This babe on the right is blowing my GD MIND.
You guys, my confidence has been low-ish the past few months (Winter Blues? 🤷🏼‍♀️Mid life crisis? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Slow post-holiday workload? 🤷🏼‍♀️ All of the above? 🤷🏼‍♀️) but today, my wicked smart, badass Federal Prosecutor friend @ashbudd called me a genius! This is right up there with the time many years ago that Groundlings & SNL alum @michaelawat called me “Funny Lady” and Jonathan Adler told me I was “Hilarious “. I didn’t get the last 2 in writing, but I do have this one to print out and hang on every wall in my house. 👌
Such fun to hang with @markwork_aro this past weekend. Judging from the look on his face, however, the feeling may not have been mutual. 🧐
Like newlyweds, I tell ya.
